itsme^® is designed for easy integration with current hardware and software. It works with trusted partners and supports diverse environments, reducing the need for complex custom solutions. 

Unlike proprietary card systems, fragmented digital apps, or basic biometric unlocks, itsme^® offers a unified, regulation-ready identity solution. It provides bank-level security, proven user trust, and works across multiple sectors without new hardware or per-site apps. 

Technology partners, such as access control manufacturers and software vendors, can embed itsme^® to differentiate their offerings, meet compliance expectations, and accelerate sales cycles by providing a trusted, easy-to-integrate identity layer.

itsme^® is not limited to Belgian citizens. Anyone who can create an itsme® account can use our physical access solutions. We currently support full EU coverage, and users from several other countries can also activate itsme^®. All they need is the itsme^® app, which is quick and easy to install. itsme^® requires an internet connection to operate securely. As with traditional access systems, a fallback solution should always be available for situations where connectivity is temporarily unavailable. We are also exploring additional options to ensure smooth operation in offline environments.

Today, itsme^® uses the biometric verification available on the user’s smartphone, such as Face ID or fingerprint, to ensure secure and seamless authentication. At the same time, itsme^® continuously innovates and explores new biometric solutions together with selected partners within our ecosystem.

itsme^® can be used in any situation where identification or authorisation is required. This could be to comply with legal requirements (for example, when ID information must be collected), or simply to verify details such as an email address, age, or name. The goal is to provide a simple and trusted solution that reduces the risk of incorrect or incomplete user data.
